The owners were dealing with multiple broken and brittle concrete tiles that were leaking and becoming unsafe. We carried out an immediate seal to get the roof through winter while planning a full replacement with COLORSTEEL.
Multiple concrete tiles had become broken and brittle, with leaks making the roof unsafe. The adjoining unit also had a secret internal gutter beneath the roofline, requiring careful attention to the roof detailing and flashings.
We sealed the roof to carry it through winter before replacing the concrete tiles with 0.55 MAXAM Corrugated Iron in New Denim Blue. We carefully detailed the secret internal gutter and addressed the Dutch gable by removing part of the cladding and installing proper apron flashings. All work was completed in-house.
